Fairfax Animal Hospital is looking for another talented Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our team. We have recently added a highly skilled veterinarian who thrives in surgery. Our new LVT would assist this surgeon in basic and complex surgeries, as well as help with appointments.

Requirements

Licensed Veterinary Technician, licensed in Virginia

A Student currently enrolled in the final semester of a veterinary technology program would be considered

Minimum 2 years experience in a small animal veterinary practice

Organized, Strong attention to detail, Critical thinker

Passion for team building and empowerment enjoys training others

Willingness to work alternating Saturdays as well as some evenings (we close at 6 pm)

Proficient in medical math, venipuncture, and anesthetic monitoring

Able to lift 35+ pounds alone, 50+ pounds with assistance
