Food Runner

The WTR Pool & Grill located inside the Godfrey Hotel currently has an exciting opportunity for a Food Runner and are actively looking to meet the best and brightest talent that the hospitality industry has to offer! Pay is $15/Hr. Plus Tips

Responsibilities:

Act as a contact point between the kitchen and serving staff

Deliver hot to order items from kitchen to tables rapidly and accurately

Assist serving staff with responding to guest needs and special requests

Clear, clean, and reset tables for dining as needed

Knowledge and familiarity of current food and beverage offerings

Ensure compliance with food safety and handling policies and procedures, i.e., product rotation, dating, labeling, and cleaning

Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the restaurant and surrounding areas

Demonstrate knowledge of hours and available amenities of the hotel

Other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

Previous experience in a restaurant a plus, but will train the right fit

High school diploma or general education degree or equivalent

Ability to be on feet, lift heavy trays, and walk for entirety of shift

Exceptional customer service skills

A can-do attitude and a hands-on approach

A flexible schedule that allows availability days, nights, holidays, and weekends based on the demands of the hotel
