About the role:

Chanel's Fashion division is seeking a Senior Manager of Allocations to lead the planning and execution for its product allocations and stock rebalancing. The individual will contribute to the achievement of our financial and inventory goals by 1. driving the in-season replenishment of the Core/Reoffered assortment to boutiques from our warehouse and 2. partnering with the Merchandise Planning team to evaluate boutique's inventory position in comparison to sales. In addition to helping optimize our processes, the Senior Manager of Allocations will also have a key role in coordinating Warehouse related activities and the implementation of future allocations tools

This position works closely with Merchandise Planning, Buying, Supply Chain & Retail Operations.

What impact you can create at CHANEL:

Drive allocation strategies and execute bi-weekly allocations that support the OTB & Boutique's needs. Prioritize allotment to maximize client demand during product scarcity

Analyze boutique's inventory positions and collaborate with Merchandise Planning and Buying to impact future allocations and execute transfers/stock rebalancing

Ensure timely delivery of product to stores, building a relationship with warehouse teams, developing and adhering to time and action calendars

Liaise with warehouse to coordinate all Merchandise activity & provide monthly activity forecasts for capacity planning

Evaluate & consider impact of store capacity, events, visual merchandising & trends to allocations

Lead process of developing, updating and enhancing tools that support allocation planning and hind-sighting

Support change management and training for developments to our Allocations process

What you will bring to the team:

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and have aptitude to learn technical applications quickly

Experience in managing replenishment tool and strategies

Strong analytical prowess to reconcile data across multiple sources and to draw actionable insights

Capacity to organize and prioritize workload with an attention to detail

Demonstrate strength in communication and influencing skills

Experience in luxury retail business preferred

Position Logistics:

Minimum 7 years of Allocations and Merch Planning experience

Bachelor's Degree required

Partially Remote: Role requires a minimum of three-days in-person office presence in the New York office

Compensation

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $87,500 through $130,000. Base salary is one component of the total compensation for this position. Other forms of variable pay [may/will] be offered for this position. Other components [may/will] include bonus potential, benefits, and/or perks.
