Position: Sous Chef (Breakfast and Lunch Service)
Responsibilities:
Lead Line Cook Daily: Take charge of the line during breakfast and lunch service, ensuring smooth operations and timely preparation of dishes.
Place Orders: Manage inventory levels and place orders for ingredients and supplies as needed to maintain stock levels.
Teach Others: Train and mentor kitchen staff, imparting culinary skills and ensuring consistency in food preparation.
Keep Kitchen Clean and Organized: Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, adhering to sanitation standards and ensuring a safe working environment.
Follow Company Standards, Processes, and Procedures: Adhere to established company protocols, including recipes, portion sizes, and food presentation standards.
Required Experience: Previous experience in breakfast cooking is essential, demonstrating proficiency in preparing a variety of breakfast dishes.
Ability to Communicate in Spanish: Fluency in Spanish is a plus, facilitating communication with Spanish-speaking staff members.
Understanding of Food and Safety: Possess a complete understanding of food safety protocols and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
