Job Details Job Location: Oak Point University - Chicago, IL Position Type: Full Time Education Level: 4 Year Degree Salary Range: Undisclosed Job Shift: Any Description The Program Manager for the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and Medical Assistant (MA) administers the educational program of the Partner Solutions programs.

Currently, the programs in this area consist of Medical Assistant, Certified Nursing Assistant and Upskill Bootcamps.

Supports the attainment of the Partner Solutions mission and goals, as well as the application and demonstration of the commitment to Oak Point University mission and values.

* Implements and maintains the program's master plan of education, goals, assessment of learning, program outlines, and program outcomes.

* Develops and evaluates assessments of the curriculum to sustain effective educational outcomes, as required by program certification agencies and submit paperwork on a timely manner to the state as required.

* Coordinates and evaluates the development and revision of curriculum to sustain the effectiveness of both the clinical and didactic education to achieve all program goals.

* Hires, supervises, and evaluates instructors and adjunct instructors for the CNA and MA programs.

* Maintains the program competencies for learner certification exam eligibility.

* Contributes to the formulation of appropriate budget planning for staffing, supplies and needs for the programs.

* Ability to train new hires, host orientations, gather all necessary supplies needed for the success of the CNA and MA cohorts.

* Work with simulation center to schedule labs and provide list of supplies needed for these programs.

* Willing to travel throughout the Chicagoland area to provide the opportunities requested by the partner.

* Manages and teaches in programs under the Growth and Innovation department including CNA and MA programs per staffing needs.

Other Duties * Enhances professional growth and development by accessing educational programs, job related literature, in-service meetings, and workshops/seminars.

Maintains current knowledge of Admissions, Enrollment Management, and educational methodologies through continuing professional development.

* Performs other related duties as assigned.

* Adheres to established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives.

* Work effectively with faculty and administrative team.

* Participates in University wide events and activities.

Key Performance Indicators Supervisory Responsibilities Directly supervises employee(s). Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.

Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Work Environment Office and clinical environment.

Physical Demands Working in an office environment, continuously working on a computer, phone or other office equipment.

Sitting/standing, occasionally lift up to 25lbs as needed.

Travel Requirement Within the Chicagoland region.

Qualifications Education and Experience A) Registered professional nurse with a minimum of two years of nursing experience; B) Must have successfully completed a Department-approved evaluator course prior to initial approval.

Registered nurses possessing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree or higher are exempt from this requirement.

Must have two years of experience teaching in a CNA Program or has taken a Train the Trainer course and an approved evaluator course; and C) Two years' experience as a registered professional nurse and one year of experience in one of the following areas: i) Teaching theory in an accredited nurse training program; ii) Providing nursing care, including personal care and activities of daily living, to older adults or for chronically ill adults; or iii) One year of experience in the provision of long term care facility services or direct care.

Additional Qualifications * Three years of experience working with front line health care employees, such as medical assistants, certified nursing assistants and patient care technicians.

* Proficiency in curriculum design, program administration, evaluation, and instruction.

* Excellent project management skills.

* Outstanding communication skills (oral and written) * Self-starter with the ability to think independently, strategically, and creatively * Enthusiastic and passionate about working with students from a variety of backgrounds.

* Effective Verbal and written communication skills while maintaining a high level of customer service.

* Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office
