We are seeking an experienced COOK with the ability to multi-task, follow instructions and work independently . This position is an 8 hour/day, full-time position.

Must be able to stand for a full shift, multi-task and work efficiently, in a fast paced environment.

* Prepares, cooks and serves three nutritional meals daily in accordance with menu.

* Prepares snacks between meals for clients.

* Assists the Food Service Coordinator in maintaining and ordering items for use in preparing meals.

* Maintains cooking area in a clean, neat and orderly manner * Consistently washes all soiled utensils, dishes, pots and pans from cooking and serving, as well as all soiled dishes and trays from unit meals.

* Performs other duties as requested.

Requirements New Horizons will need you to have the following qualifications: * High School Diploma or GED.

* Demonstrated Proficiency in reading and writing.

* 2 years' experience preferred.
