Prep Cook for Dock

Dock 17 is a bustling eatery located in the heart of Clarksville, TN, known for its fresh, inventive dishes and a welcoming atmosphere. We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Prep Cook to join our kitchen team. This position offers a fantastic opportunity for growth and development within our culinary team, with the potential to transition into a full-time role. Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation of culinary delights; tasks include peeling, chopping, and sorting ingredients.

Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and taking out trash.

Ensure food and supply inventories are stocked and properly stored.

Follow kitchen safety protocols and guidelines.

Assist with receiving deliveries and organizing supplies.

Work closely with the kitchen team to contribute to menu development and execution.

Actively participate in training and workshops to hone your skills and techniques.

Requirements:

No formal education is required; however, a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Previous kitchen experience is a plus, but not mandatory. Training will be provided.

A genuine interest in culinary arts and a desire to pursue a career in the food service industry.

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

A team player with excellent communication skills.

Fluent in English

Availability to work on weekends, holidays, and during peak hours.
