ob Summary:

You will report directly to the Engineering Manager and belong to a team of Project, Chemical, Mechanical, Reliability, and Electrical Engineers along with Quality Technicians, a Drafter and Documentation working onsite. You will lead the coordination, construction, and cost control of projects from conception to startup. Your contributions will support short-term needs while balancing long-term priorities and builds ownership while creating enthusiasm and support for the vision, goals and required business changes. This is a safety sensitive position.

Job Description:

You Will:

• Support and participate in all Environment, Health and Safety initiatives and activities.

• Lead multidiscipline project teams to design, organize, schedule, and implement project plans.

• Supervise Engineering and Construction contractors to ensure that all plant replacements, modifications, and additions are performed in strict conformity with design specifications and applicable code requirements.

• Help define project scopes in collaboration with management and other departments.

• Develop a project schedule that allocates the resources to the activities.

• Oversee the progress of the project and make adjustments to ensure successful completion promptly.

• Manage all project funds according to established accounting policies·

• Forecast project cash flows on a monthly basis. ·

• Lead the Management of Change (MOC) process. ·

• Support turnaround planning.

You Have:

• Engineering degree (Mechanical or Chemical).

• 5 or more years of experience in project execution in a chemical plant or refinery.

• Experience in project management and implementation.

• Project Management Professional (PMP) designation is an asset.
