The Sr. Tax Accountant will have a strong focus on indirect tax and will play a critical part in supporting the tax compliance and reporting activities related to property tax and sales & use tax. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in accounting principles, along with at least 3 years of experience in either public accounting or corporate accounting or tax with knowledge of indirect taxes.

Responsibilities:

· Assist with the preparation and filing of property tax returns for various jurisdictions.

· Support the analysis, review, and reconciliation of property tax assessments, payments, and refunds.

· Aid in the identification and implementation of opportunities for property tax savings and process improvements.

· Assist in the preparation and filing of sales & use tax returns for multiple states.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data for accurate tax reporting.

· Assist in responding to tax notices and inquiries from taxing authorities.

· Participate in the preparation of tax-related schedules and reports for management and external auditors.

· Support ad-hoc tax projects and initiatives as assigned.

Requirements:

· Bachelor's degree in Accounting

· 3+ years of experience in public accounting or corporate accounting or tax.

· Solid understanding of accounting principles and tax concepts.

· Knowledge of property tax and sales & use tax is highly desirable.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software applications.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.

· Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills.

· High level of integrity and professionalism.
