Must-haves

* Bachelor's degree or related technical degree

* Familiarity with one or more, data formats in EDI, CSV, XML, JSON

* Willingness to learn the client's business systems, SQL, and EDI syntax

* 2+ years' experience serving in customer service or technical analyst role

* Excellent oral and written communication skills to interact effectively with various business partners, technical teams, system users, and management

* Working knowledge of Excel and standard business tools

Plusses

* Data transformation and communication tools such as Cleo Clarify and Cleo Harmony

* Ability to solve complex problems, including use of research, analysis, and expertise

* Wholesale distribution industry

Day-to-Day

Insight Global is looking for a Technical/Data Support Analyst to join one of our Electrical Distribution clients in Irving, TX. The client is seeking someone who is customer-focused to facilitate the daily operations of the Systems Integration team. The ideal candidate will work closely with external business partners and client locations to implement and maintain electronic document transactions. This position will also identify and resolve processing exceptions. A large part of this role will be interacting with high level managers to ensure data is being received and processed correctly. He/she should have a go-getter mentality, with actions to follow. A part of the role may entail helping escalated help desk requests if a document and/or payment is not processed correctly. As well, working with profit center managers to ensure their preferred send and receive method is used.

Job Responsibilities

* Provide support to our business partners and client locations in the setup, exchange, and tracking of electronic documents

* Analysis of electronic documents including data formatting, mapping, and adherence to standards

* Provide Level II support from the client helpdesk to analyze and resolve processing exceptions

* Manage implementation projects for new trade partners

* Create and maintain documentation for Systems Integration processes, trade partners, and client locations

* Oversee system setup and training as it relates to processing of electronic documents
