FPC of Wake Forest has been engaged to locate a Continuous Improvement Manager for a great client. This company is known for the design, development, and distribution of a collection of industry leading brands.
So, what will you be doing as Continuous Improvement Manager?
-Develop and implement lean manufacturing strategies and initiatives to drive continuous improvement in operational performance
-Identify and eliminate waste and inefficiency within the organization’s process (Manufacturing, Distribution, Supply Chain, Finance, HR)
-Partner with Operations and Supply Chain leadership to develop, monitor, and analyze KPIs to identify targets for improvement
-Lead cross-functional teams in strategy deployment (LDM (Lean Daily Management), PDCA, Heijunka, Value Stream Mapping, 5S, SMED, Poka-Yoke, and other Lean tools)
-Develop and drive a problem-solving culture and facilitate the solving of simple and complex problems
What you will need to be successful:
-BS in Engineering, Operations, or another related field
-7+ years of experience in manufacturing operations
- Advanced/Expert knowledge of Lean methodologies (Hoshin, Heijunka, Value Stream Mapping, 5S, SMED, Poka-Yoke)
-Excellent problem-solving skills; ability to identify root cause
-Ability to work with and communicate with all levels of the organization
Also considered a plus:
-MBA or Master’s level degree
-Lean certification (Six Sigma Black Belt)
-Previous experience with Business System deployment (i.e. Danaher Business System DBS)
