Chief Financial Officer

CrimsonXT is currently seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join an innovative Series A CleanTech start up, poised to revolutionize the industry. The selected CFO will hold a pivotal role in shaping the company's financial trajectory and fostering its growth. Serving as a vital member of the executive leadership team, the CFO will be tasked with overseeing all financial aspects, encompassing accounting, financial planning, budgeting, analysis, and strategic financial initiatives.

Responsibilities:

If selected, your responsibilities will span across various financial domains, including but not limited to:

Offering strategic financial counsel to the CEO and executive leadership team, facilitating informed decision-making and driving organizational expansion.

Ensuring strict adherence to pertinent financial regulations, laws, and accounting standards.

Supervising the company's financial transactions, including incoming and outgoing invoices and payments.

Crafting and executing the company's financial strategy in harmony with its overarching vision and mission.

Establishing and enforcing robust financial and operational controls and procedures to mitigate risks and bolster growth.

Preparing annual financial reports to undergo an inaugural external audit.

Cultivating and managing relationships with external stakeholders, encompassing investors, financial institutions, auditors, and regulatory bodies.

Providing support for fundraising endeavors, spanning debt and equity financing, and nurturing ties with investors and stakeholders.

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to streamline operations and optimize financial performance.

Candidate Requirements:

We are seeking candidates who possess the following qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; an MBA or CPA certification is preferred.

Extensive experience of 10+ years in leadership roles within the financial domain, such as CFO, Controller, or VP of Finance.

Demonstrated prowess in strategic planning and analysis, with a track record of delivering tangible results through data-driven decision-making.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating seamless collaboration across diverse teams.

Proficiency in managing intricate financial operations, encompassing financial planning, budgeting, analysis, and reporting.

Profound understanding of financial regulations, laws, and accounting principles.

Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in the energy, battery technology, or related sectors.
