Overview:
The A.C. Coy Company is currently hiring for a Construction Site Manager role to support new client locations, both regionally and nationally. Our ideal candidate will have two or more years of construction leadership experience, ideally involving low voltage, electrical, or communications construction projects. This individual will need to have a clean driving record and the ability to travel overnight up to 75% of the time, Monday - Friday.
Our Client will provide paid training, a vehicle to use for work, paid travel expenses and lodging, a laptop and phone, and all the necessary tools and test equipment.
Responsibilities:
Serve as an on-site lead for the deployment of telecom installation projects including site/client communications, subcontractor management, materials logistics, and construction schedules
Meet with clients and perform pre-construction site visits of buildings, campuses, subterranean levels, and other areas where RF signals may need to be enhanced; Provide design change suggestions
Collect site details on med/large projects for use to adjust Budgetary Designs and BOM to accurate details for construction and deployment
Diagnose, troubleshoot & resolve basic installation and hardware problems
Enforce Quality Control to ensure installation meets required standards
Maintain a current and accurate status of all construction activities and be able to communicate the status through reports, e-mails, meetings, conference calls
Report updates to Clients and Project Managers regarding schedules and progress
Enforce accuracy of the Project Scope of Work
Manage client/site and subcontractor relationships and schedules
Manage the development of accurate Project Closing Package, Construction Reports and Testing reports
Required
Two or more years of on-site construction industry leadership experience
Strong communication skills with ability to interact professionally with project managers, subcontractor foremen, and client representatives
Ability to read blueprints, design drawings & Visio drawings
Proficiency with common hand tools; Willingness to be hands-on when needed
Basic proficiency with Windows, PC hardware, MS Office Software, and other basic applications
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Preferred
5+ years of experience with cabling installations, construction management, or wireless telecommunications infrastructure
Any experience managing low voltage, electrical, or communications construction projects
Additional
Ability to clear criminal background checks, drug screen, and MVR check
Ability to travel up to 75% of the time Monday - Friday with the remaining time split remote and in-office
Ability to lift 50lbs, work from ladders, and climb, crouch, and kneel.
