Youth Specialist

We are currently hiring a number of Youth Care Practitioners (YCP) in Windsor Mill, MD. As a Youth Care Practitioner, you would provide mentorship, coaching, and support to children, aged 12-17 years old, in a shelter setting. The YCP will be responsible for working directly with unaccompanied minors. They will be in charge of supervision of children at all times through all program activities and follow all program rules and procedures. We are currently hiring for a variety of different shifts, including day and night.

REQUIREMENTS

High School Degree or Bachelor's Degree in related field

Bilingual (English/Spanish) other languages excepted

At least one year experience working with immigration, children welfare, social services and/or other related .

Understanding of trauma-informed care

Ability to pass background checks and screening.

Must have a valid, active, driver's license with less than 7 points.

Computer knowledge and skills

Compensation: $45,000-$54,000. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role may include healthcare insurance offerings and paid leave as provided by applicable law.
