Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Commercial Real Estate Counsel to join our client's team in Cleveland, Ohio. As the Commercial Real Estate Counsel, you will play a crucial role in providing legal guidance and support in various real estate transactions and matters.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide legal counsel and support on commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and development projects.

Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of real estate documents, including leases, purchase agreements, and financing documents.

Conduct due diligence and manage legal aspects of real estate transactions.

Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders, including developers, lenders, and brokers.

Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends impacting commercial real estate.

Qualifications:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Admission to the Ohio Bar or eligibility for admission through reciprocity.

5+ years of experience practicing commercial real estate law, preferably with a focus on transactions.

Strong understanding of real estate finance, leasing, and development.

Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
