Job Description:

As the Strategic Sourcing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and profitability of our division. Collaborating closely with our operational team, you will lead strategic sourcing efforts, oversee supply chain operations, and ensure supplier accountability. This position is not just about managing transactions; it's about transforming our purchasing function into a strategic asset that drives competitive advantage and supports our global expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead strategic sourcing efforts, collaborating with internal stakeholders and representing the division on the global sourcing leadership team.

- Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with business objectives to drive growth and profitability.

- Transition the purchasing department into a strategic sourcing organization, driving initiatives to leverage purchasing scale and manage supply chain risks.

- Identify and execute sourcing initiatives that enhance profitability and global competitiveness.

- Manage supplier qualification, selection, and performance to ensure quality, continuity, and delivery.

- Lead complex negotiations and contract management processes.

- Coach, mentor, and develop a high-performing sourcing team.

- Establish departmental goals, objectives, and operating procedures.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in business, Materials Management, Supply Chain Management, Technical, or Engineering; MBA preferred.

- Minimum of 10 years of strategic sourcing and supply chain experience, with at least 5 years in a management role.

- Proven track record of driving operational improvements and implementing lean manufacturing practices.

- Strong negotiation skills and experience with procurement, contract law, MRP, and Lean manufacturing techniques.

- Familiarity with Kanban, vendor-managed inventory, and ERP systems.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities.

- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to drive change within the organization.

Travel required, both domestically and internationally (approximately 20%).
