Seeking an experienced Events Manager to execute all company events.
The Global Information Network hosts a variety of events for our Members.
Events & Meetings includes:
4 Major Weekend Events each year with over 1000 participants
Dozens of Local Chapter Meetings monthly around the world
Seminars, Conferences, Symposiums, Lectures, Workshops, Awards Events and Banquets, Expos, Retreats
Dozens of “GIN Adventures” (in-field tours and outings for our members)
You would be responsibilities include:
Source event locations and hotels
Contracting the hotels and vendors for each event
Venue, Space Contract Monitoring & Management
Venue Site Inspections
Audiovisual Procurement & Coordination
Creating and managing the event for ticket sales pages on our website
Staffing (pre, onsite and post)
Audiovisual and Event agenda and program flow
Food & Beverage Management
Budget & Financial Management
Programming/Speaker & Entertainment Management
General Event Management Reporting
Shipping & Receiving Coordination
Signage & Collateral Printing
Attendee Housing/Rooming List Management
Post Event Reconciling & Surveys and Analysis
In addition to the above you would also be responsible for:
Posting all events on our website
Managing 4 virtual seminars annually
Sourcing and contracting GIN Adventures for each Major Weekend Event, managing in-field GIN Adventures hosted by members
Managing our in-field meeting hosts, including hiring, training and co-ordinating their events
You will have access to volunteers from around the world to help manage the department and get everything done.

You should have extensive experience in putting on and organizing “events” ideally around the world. Strong leadership skills needed and ability to manage others, delegate tasks. Must be detailed oriented with a strong sense of professionalism and the ability to produce an “excellent” world class event.
You should also be a person who embraces personal development, the law of attraction, positive thinking, high ethics and integrity and work ethic.
You should have a “dress for success” attitude.
