Mortgage Servicing Transaction Manager

Our client is focused on investments in the mortgage space; including whole loans, asset backed securities, mortgage servicing rights, and other credit-related assets.

They are seeking a Transaction Manager to join their team

Responsibilities:

Responsible for managing loans closings for newly originated residentials pools.

Assist with loan validation and loan purchase process,

Validate the Custodian’s verification of loan data file and loan docs.

Ensure loan origination file data matches purchase tape information.

Coordinate with finance teams to have wires sent to issuing bank partners to purchase loans.

Overseeing loan acquisitions process in a fast-paced environment.

Understanding of residential mortgage loans, collateral, diligence, valuation.

Prepare trackers and tapes, compile, and review diligence responses, provide rebuttals and communicate updates.

Qualifications

Strong understanding of residential mortgage loans, collateral, diligence and valuation.

3+ years’ experience with loan purchasing, working at a loan servicer, mortgage company or bank in a transaction manager role.

Proficient MS Office with advanced Excel skills, as well as dealing with different systems in relation to servicing, vendors and proprietary asset management systems

Ability to manage multiple initiatives and competing priorities simultaneously.

Familiarity with rated and non-agency mortgage securitization process is a plus
