Position Summary
The position of IT Tier II supports the technical operations of our clients using our Service Desk and IT Management services. In addition, this position is responsible for monitoring, remediation, and patching, of various computer and network systems. Maintain quality service and availability standards set by the organization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Monitor availability, performance and capacity of all infrastructure, applications and processes.
Perform patching of Windows servers via RMM Tools
Experience with Ticketing Systems (ServiceNow, SysAid, etc)
Experience with Monitoring and management software (SolarWinds preferred)
Perform system maintenance to network devices, storage arrays, and servers during approved maintenance windows.
Strong Desktop Support experience a must
Database Administration
Provide escalated support for afterhours operational issues on a rotational basis.
Active Directory administration, management and monitoring.
Monitor, perform, and trouble shoot backups (Veeam, Datto, etc) a plus
Create and maintain application distribution packages using Group Policy or other methods.
Configure Windows network services such as DNS, FTP, and IIS.
Anti-virus software administration Sophos a plus.
LAN/WAN administration, network documentation, routing & switching, support, and configuration. (Cisco a plus.)
Server and network monitoring administration.
Maintain and update ticketing system as needed for all open tickets, escalations, and resolutions.
Supporting Office 365.
Demonstrated success in troubleshooting of connectivity issues, such as VPN connections, FTP access, Internet access, websites and various carrier circuit connections.
Hands on experience with Cisco networking and Microsoft technologies.
Must have experience supporting VMware and virtualized environments.
