Major, Lindsey & Africa’s Interim Legal Talent group has an immediate need for a fulltime (40 hours) Interim Employee Relations Director (Atlanta, Hybrid). This is a temporary to permanent role.

Overview: Our client is seeking an experienced Employee Relations Director to join the team in the US. As the Employee Relations Director, you will play a critical role in conducting a high-volume of internal investigations into employee complaints.

Company: Publicly traded, National Retailer with 200+ stores

Experience: 5+ years experience conducting high volume internal investigations into employee complaints and ensure timely and appropriate resolutions

Location: Atlanta, Hybrid (Four days per week in-office) or Fully Remote

Responsibilities Include:

Work with Field HR and Store Managers nationally to conduct investigations into employee complaints and decide on timely and appropriate resolutions. This role is meant for a decision maker.

Work on high volume employment investigations, 50 new investigations per month.

Build and maintain strong relationships with Field HR, Store Managers and other stakeholders to effectively address employee relations issues.

90% of the role will be internal investigations.

10% of the role will include Compliance Auditing (Cronos dimensions timekeeping)

Qualifications Include:

Bachelor’s Degree from accredited University.

5+ years experience conducting high volume internal investigations into employee complaints and decide on timely and appropriate resolutions.

A collaborative candidate that and has a deep understanding of employment laws and best practices.

Retail or Restaurant industry experience.

Experience working on high volume employment investigations, 50 new investigations per month.

High level of attention to detail, likes grammar, meticulous attention to detail.

A Decision Maker- Able to evaluate credibility and propose concrete action for an investigation.

Inherent cross-examiner.

Navex software used, but Director can be part of evaluating new investigations systems
