This role reports to the Senior Vice President, Legal Affairs & General Counsel and provides legal support for in general corporate matters and healthcare transactions.

The successful candidate will have significant experience in diverse areas of health care practice, including corporate and commercial transactions, general healthcare law, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities: * Support attorneys in delivery of legal services to internal clients in general corporate and healthcare transactional matters * Preparation and negotiation, with supervision, of the following types of agreements: * BAAs * Managed Health and Managed Behavioral Health Agreement * EMR and System Access Agreements * Facility Services Agreements * IPA & MSO Medical Services Provider Agreements * Hospital Agreements * IHA Services Agreements * Care Management Participation * Provider Agreements * NDAs * Assist with contracts and other supporting documents in mergers, medical practice acquisitions, joint ventures, network contracting and other strategic transactions, including coordinating internal and external teams and due diligence activities * Data room and due diligence management * Assist with legal compliance activities and ensure compliance with company policies, including Privacy/HIPAA, and other legal and regulatory requirements.

* Support general corporate tasks * Work closely with all members of the legal team and internal clients to develop and improve internal processes that will support the growth of the legal department and for meeting contractual and compliance requirements Qualifications: * Paralegal certificate or equivalent from accredited institution * Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required * Prefer someone located in Las Vegas area (able to have hybrid in office/home schedule to be agreed upon) * Fully remote work possible for the right candidate * 7+ years' experience in-house, law firm or regulatory or government agency * Understanding of and experience with regulatory and compliance statutes (e.g., HIPAA, Stark Law, Anti-Kickback) * Experience with California DMHC strongly preferred; multi-state experience preferred, particularly in California, Nevada, Oregon, Florida or Arizona preferred * General knowledge of federal securities law preferred but not required * Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision and demonstrate initiative in problem-solving * Comfortable working with a geographically dispersed team * Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with ability to interact professionally with colleagues and external parties * Ability to identify and prioritize tasks and successfully manage multiple projects * Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding ethical standards in all aspects of work
