VACANCY NOTICE May 14, 2024 Shoreline Adult Education Family Literacy Aide (ESOL) - Summer Location: Branford High School Schedule and Hours: Tuesday - Thursday; 9:30 am -11:30 AM; from July 2 - 25, 2024 Rate: $19.00/hour Minimum Qualifications: * Able to work with a variety of people from other cultures with limited English language proficiency * Interest in supporting families with young children * Knowledge of pedagogy and current practices in the field of childhood education and development * CPR and First Aid certified * Familiarity with adult education a plus Major Areas of Responsibility: * Assist the family literacy teacher in supervising and instructing children between the ages of 2-6 years old while their parents are attending adult English for Speakers of Other Languages classes (ESOL).
