Determines the objectives and constraints of the design brief by consulting with clients
Undertakes product research and analysis functional, commercial, cultural and aesthetic requirements.
Prepares sketches, diagrams, illustrations, plans, samples and models to communicate design concepts.
Negotiates design solutions with clients, management, sales and manufacturing staff.
Selects, specifies and recommends functional and aesthetic materials, production methods and finishes for manufactures.
Use computer software to develop virtual models of different designs
Evaluate product safety, appearance, and function to determine if a design is practical
Develop color schemes with material and finish selections within schedule and budget requirement
Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of contract office furniture and cabinet lines
Job Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or Interior Design/ Industrial design
Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
Proficiency with AutoCAD
Skilled in 3D modeling (Sketchup & Vray or other rendering software)
Preferably with working knowledge of SPAZIO3D or Biesse's Bsolid/Bcabinet lines
Ability to interpret customer needs and project requirements into competent design solutions
Strong oral, presentation, written, listening, and interpersonal skills
