We currently have an exciting opportunity for a BIM Technician, Civil to join our Property Structures and Civil team.

Main Responsibilities include:

Assist project set up by agreeing drawing strategy, type and size of drawings and drawing numbering with project lead, and suggesting methods of drawing production to ensure efficient methods of working

Agree priorities and deadlines for drawing production with Project Lead

Develop general arrangement drawings from engineer’s sketches and other design team member drawings and details and develop sketches into coordinated details

Responsible for the clarity, completeness and accuracy of drawings and presentation materials produced.

Adheres to prescribed drafting standard and procedures.

Follow QA, document control and management guidelines on all work

Conscientiously works towards the group’s objectives and adheres to the company’s policy.

Work with project team members on specified aspects of the project

Perform tasks assigned by the more senior BIM Technicians / Civil Designers/ Engineers in line with his experience, discipline or qualifications.

Experience, Capabilities & Competencies:

Graduate of BS Civil Engineering or BS Architecture course.

More than 3 years of relevant civil drafting experience in the property and land development space

Experience of working on several sized projects, as CAD support and as part of a wider CAD team

Knowledgeable in drafting software like AutoCAD

Proficiency in Civil3D and 12D is an advantage

Preferably with experience on Australian projects
