theScore is looking for an individual to fill a QA Automation Engineer, Co-op position. Our ideal candidate will have some knowledge of best practices when it comes to mobile & web testing, and a solid background of software development concepts.

About the Work:

Help maintain automation frameworks for Web and native mobile apps on Android & iOS platforms.

Investigate test failures using root cause analysis during maintenance and planning efforts.

Meet with QA Analysts and product managers to identify testing requirements.

Identify, record, and track bugs.

Participate in code reviews and pair programming sessions with other Automation Engineers.

Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.

Other duties as required.

About You:

Knowledge of the SDLC and software development concepts.

Experience with the iOS and Android family of mobile devices.

Experience automating tests for web applications.

Experience using version control (Git), and unit testing frameworks (jUnit / Cucumber).

Experience with GraphQL & RESTful APIs is considered an asset.

Experience with continuous integration (Jenkins) is considered an asset.

Knowledge of basic scripting (Bash / Python / Javascript) on macOS or Linux/Unix environments is considered an asset.

Experience using Xcode/Android Studio is considered an asset.

Experience with defect tracking tools (JIRA) and defect workflow is considered an asset.
