Centurion is proud to be the provider of mental health to the Florida Department of Corrections. We are seeking to hire full-time LMHPs and MHPs throughout Florida.

We are currently seeking to hire full-time Licensed Mental Health Professionals to join our teams; available shifts are Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm and 8 am - 5:00 pm; no weekends

Northwest Florida Reception Center located in Chipley, Florida

Fully licensed LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT

Additionally, we are currently seeking full-time Mental Health Professionals to join our teams at the following locations (Registered Interns accepted in some locations):

Liberty Correctional Institution located in Bristol, Florida

Wakulla Correctional Institution located in Crawfordville, Florida

Jefferson Correctional Institution located in Monticello, Florida

Taylor Correctional Institution located in Perry, Florida

The Mental Health Professional provides mental health case management services to patients in a correctional setting and consults with a multi-disciplinary team in providing comprehensive mental health care, including: intake and assessments, crisis intervention, treatment planning, and providing individual and group therapy.

Qualifications:

Masters level degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field from an accredited educational institution required.

Active mental health professional license [Insert state name—no abbreviations—i.e. Florida]

Must show current tuberculosis documentation and active CPR certification.

Minimum of two years' experience with direct care for individuals with mental illness preferred.

Must be able to pass a background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable
