Sales Representative, Midwest Territory
What you will be responsible for: The Midwest Territory Sales Representative will play an integral role in maintaining and growing the business as well as researching new areas of opportunity by performing the following duties.
Midwest coverage area includes - Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, Illinois, Missouri, Iowa, Kansas, Nebraska, South Dakota and North Dakota.
Qualified Candidates must:
be a self-starter
be detail and technically oriented
be willing to travel 30%of the time
possess an impeccable interpersonal and presentation skills
reside in Minneapolis / St. Paul, MN or Chicago, ILHow you will contribute:
Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads.
Travels throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders and new business, or talks with customers on conference calls, web-based meetings or by phone.
Displays or demonstrates product, using samples or catalog, and emphasizes salable benefits, features, and services.
Quotes prices and credit terms and prepares sales contracts for orders obtained.
Estimates date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of own firm's production and delivery schedules.
Prepares reports of business transactions and keeps expense accounts.
Works with inside sales representatives or customer service representatives to keep account activities and literature up to date.
Tracks stock levels.
Coordinates customer training.
Enters new customer data and other sales data for current customers into computer database.
Develops and maintains relationships with purchasing contacts.
Investigates and resolves customer problems with deliveries or payments.
Attends trade shows. Education / Experience:
Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
2-5 years sale experience in the medical device industry or within the life sciences arena.Relocation assistance and employment sponsorship is not available for this position.
