Position Overview: As a Bookkeeper at The Minhas Group, you will be responsible for performing a range of accounting and financial tasks to support the smooth operation of our business operations.

Job Details: Employer Name: The Minhas Group Job Location: Canada Salary: $20.00 -$25.00 hr Job Position: Bookkeeper Job Type: Full Time, Permanent, Part-Time, 40-60 hours per week Education: High School or Diploma Degree Experience: 1-2 Basic Requirements Key Responsibilities: Accounting Tasks: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records by recording transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.

Reconciliation: Conduct regular bank reconciliations to ensure that all transactions are properly accounted for and discrepancies are identified and resolved in a timely manner.

Invoicing and Payments: Prepare and process invoices for customers and clients, track outstanding payments, and follow up on overdue accounts to ensure timely collections.

Financial Reporting: Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to provide insights into the financial performance of the business.

Budget Management: Assist in the development and monitoring of budgets, track expenses against budgeted amounts, and provide analysis to support decision-making processes.

Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting principles, company policies, and regulatory requirements, including tax filings and financial audits.

Qualifications: Previous experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles is preferred.

Proficiency in accounting software, such as QuickBooks or Xero, and Microsoft Excel.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and identify trends or discrepancies.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with team members and interact with clients and vendors.
