Background

We are looking for a Senior Manager of Social Media to develop and execute the social media marketing strategies for Ardell, our flagship brand. Reporting to the brand director, you will be responsible for shaping the brand’s digital presence, setting the overarching channel goals, and the performance of all campaigns. You must have direct-to-consumer experience and have created amazing retailer campaigns with a social/influencer first approach. You must be adept at crafting compelling content plans, social activations, and generating the creative to support your vision.

Responsibilities

· Develop compelling social media campaigns and content that support brand marketing initiatives, new product launches and retailer support.

· Direct the creative team and content creators to produce educating and engaging static and video content in alignment with brand strategy, image, and tone.

· Lead a team of social media, content, and community managers to bring the campaigns and creative to life. This will entail providing ongoing feedback, mentoring their growth, and prioritization/delegation of duties.

· Partner with the influencer relations and PR teams to create holistic campaigns that will increase brand visibility, awareness, and EMV.

· Maintain ownership of all KPIs such as reach, impressions, views, engagement rate etc. that will ultimately drive in-store and .com sales.

· Analyze and interpret campaign and content performance to inform optimizations and share those learnings/insights with the executive, marketing, and cross-functional teams.

· Research competitive and social media beauty trends and inform broader marketing team regarding potential opportunities.

Qualifications

· 5 to 7 years of experience in social media marketing, with at least 3 years at a manager level, either at an agency or in-house.

· Extensive experience in all major platforms and strong understanding of algorithms and analytics in: TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest.

· Deep expertise in tools/services such as: Dash Hudson, Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Tagger, Lefty, Perpetua/cobrand, Tribe Dynamics, CreatorIQ, Canva.

· Skilled in graphic design, photo editing and video editing.

· A bachelor’s (or equivalent) degree in marketing, journalism, or a related field.

· Strong verbal and written communication skills.

· Collaborative, able to get buy-in, and build cross-functional relationships.

· Resilient and able to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

· Passionate about beauty trends, new products, and content creation.
