Apex Systems is a global IT services provider and our consulting practice has an opening for an Consultant, Data & Records Management with a background in Data Management, Privacy and Records Management experience to place at our client, a Big Five Bank
Client: Big Five Bank
Terms: 6 month contract. With high possibility of extension.
Location: Hybrid, 1-2 days in office per week
Description: The Enterprise Data & Records Management Office (EDRMO) is accountable for providing business identification and consultative support relative to the development, analysis and identification of process changes and/or systems enhancements.
Support strategic and enterprise-wide Data and Records Management initiatives to reduce risk and cost effectiveness programs across the bank.
Top 3 must haves/years exp:
Background in records management
Background in Privacy
Data Management experience
3-5 years’ experience is preferred
Key Qualifications:
Assessing current processes, provide guidance and consulting on initiatives that touch records management
Working with technology partners, legal, privacy and business partners throughout organizations and liaison between businesses
Prior experience in the records space
Understands legal and regulatory requirements with records management
Will be required to work with risk and compliance
Soft Skills:
Well spoken
Not afraid to present to small audiences / privacy officer who is VP
Opinionated on the topic and not afraid to speak up on matters and open minded to argue through their point of view (difficult customers, need someone firm)
Industry:
Banking/Financial Services experience is preferred
