About the role:

Design Leadership through Collaboration: Collaborate with another illustrator to lead the visual design narrative for our consumer tech company, collaborating closely with UX designers, user researchers, and content strategists. Your strategic vision will be the driving force behind creating compelling and cohesive design solutions.

Illustrative Brilliance: Leverage your adept illustration skills to create captivating visuals that resonate with our target audience. Your illustrations will not only enhance the visual aesthetics but also elevate the storytelling and engagement aspects of our consumer products.

Design System Integration: Embrace and enrich our existing design system to ensure consistency and efficiency across visual designs. Your role in maintaining and enhancing the design system will contribute to a seamless and harmonious user experience.

Trend Insights: Stay attuned to the latest design trends, industry advancements, and emerging technologies within consumer tech design. Your insights will guide the evolution of our visual design approach, keeping our products fresh and competitive.

Stakeholder Engagement: Present and communicate your design concepts, strategies, and rationale to internal stakeholders and clients. Your ability to articulate your creative vision will foster alignment and support effective decision-making.

Time Management Excellence: Manage multiple design projects and tasks within established timelines, ensuring the delivery of high-quality visual designs that align with user needs and business objectives.

About you:

5+ years of experience bringing visual narrative to life in digital products showcased in a portfolio.

Comfortable with the creation of UI elements, working with typography and icon design.

Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite and Figma, or similar software.

Understanding of user research methodologies, usability testing, and information architecture.

Knowledge of mobile design guidelines, best practices, and platform-specific design considerations.

Experience working in Agile development environments, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and rationale to stakeholders at all levels.

A passion for keeping up with the latest design trends, technologies, and industry advancements.

Knowledge of accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and their implementation in mobile design is a plus.
