Job Summary:
Human Resources Generalist is the focal point of communication for the human resources team, with efficiency being the key goal at all times. Human Resources Generalist must perform a range of duties supporting divisional managers and HR staff. The duties consist of safety, policies, training, labour relations, relocation, diversity, education, regulatory compliance for each provinces in Canada and other HR programs. Provide resolutions and consulting in the above areas to ensure profitable business operations.

Human Resources Generalist reports to the Manager – Human Resources
Responsibilities:
First point of contact for warehouse employees.
Manage Corporate HR Guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures.
Perform administrative tasks to manage temporary and regular employees.
HR Data Management: Update and maintain the Employee Information System. Register new hires and ensure accurate records for existing employees.
Recruitment Process Management: Manage the posting and publication of job openings, oversee the application and screening process. Coordinate interview schedules and communicate with candidates.
Labor Management: Track working hours and attendance, process payroll, and handle inquiries related to vacation and benefits.
Education and Training Management: Identify necessary education and training opportunities for employees and manage the organization's training schedule.
Compliance with HR Policies and Regulations: Monitor compliance with labor laws and company policies, providing information to employees as needed.
Temporary Employee Management: Manage Temporary Employees and agency.
Office and Document Management
Warehouse Operations Support: Support inventory management and order processing. Assist in warehouse facility maintenance and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Safety and Environmental Compliance: Supervise compliance with safety regulations and maintain the warehouse environment. Conduct emergency evacuation training and reinforce safety protocols.
License & permit
Requirements:
Ability to speak/write fluently in both English and Korean is an asset.
Demonstrated ability to provide beneficial recommendations to solve HR related issues related to regulations, laws and policies.
Bachelor's degree in HR or related (essential).
3 years of experience as an HR (essential).
Effective HR administration and people management skills.
Highly computer literate with capability in email, MS Office, and related business and communication tools.
