Bilingual Power BI developer

1 year Contract +Extension

Hybrid mode, which is 3 days of remote work and 2 days in person.

• English and French, spoken and written - required

Professional Experience

• 5 years of experience with the Microsoft Power BI platform in terms of platform management and development of data visualization solutions

• 5 years of experience in creating Power BI datasets and migrating reports from various sources (Excel, Business Object, etc.)

• Proficiency with Microsoft DAX, TSQL, Powershell and C# development languages.

• Good practical experience in setting up data access security via Active Directory group management or Row-Level Security in Microsoft Power BI.

• Excellent analytical and conceptual thinking skills.

• Ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.

• Excellent planning, organizational, teamwork, documentation and time management skills.

• Results oriented, focused strongly on ownership and accountability.

Educational Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.

Knowledge and Skills

• Power BI

• Power BI Report Builder

• External Tools (eg. ALM Toolkit, Dax Studio, Tabular Editor, etc.)

• Experience in report design, creation of statement (an asset)

• Experience with the Data bricks platform (an asset)

Soft Skills

• Excellent communication skills, documentation, storytelling, creativity, and presentation abilities.

• Strong organizational skills, ability to work under pressure, and manage multiple competing priorities and requests.

• Takes responsibility for assigned work to drive action plans and resolutions.
