About the team Looking for specialization in migrations, will play a key role in designing, planning, and executing seamless cloud migrations for our clients.

You will be responsible for understanding our clients' existing on-premises infrastructure, applications, and data, and developing comprehensive migration strategies to AWS cloud services.

Your expertise will ensure a smooth transition to the cloud, optimizing performance, reliability, and cost efficiency for our clients' applications and workloads.

Responsibilities – Knowledge and hands-on experience with AWS services such as AWS EC2, S3, SNS, EBS, ELB, EFS, Route 53, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, CloudFront, Lambda, CloudTrail, and RDS.

Additionally, familiarity with AWS backup services and monitoring services.

Develop and implement automation scripts and solutions using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation templates, and bash scripting.

Implement and manage DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, Docker, EKS, and ECR to automate software delivery and deployment processes.

Migration Planning: Collaborate with clients and internal teams to assess their existing infrastructure and applications, understanding their business needs and technical requirements.

Develop detailed migration plans and timelines to move applications and data to the AWS cloud while minimizing downtime and disruptions.

Setup and Configuration: Set up and configure AWS environments to support the migration process.

This includes creating virtual private clouds (VPCs), network configurations, security groups, and other necessary components.

and Scripting: Leverage automation and scripting tools (e.g., AWS CloudFormation, AWS CLI, etc.) to streamline migration processes and reduce manual intervention wherever possible.

and Compliance: Implement robust security measures and compliance practices during the migration process.

Ensure that all migrated resources adhere to industry standards and best practices for security.

Optimization: Fine-tune AWS resources to optimize performance and cost-efficiency, utilizing auto-scaling, load balancing, and other AWS features as needed.

and Support: Provide technical support during and after migration, addressing any issues that arise and resolving them in a timely manner..

Qualification: degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

years of professional experience in cloud computing, specifically with AWS services.

experience in planning and executing successful cloud migration projects.

knowledge of AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, etc.

with migration tools and methodologies, such as AWS Database Migration Service (DMS) and Server Migration Service (SMS). understanding of networking concepts and security best practices in AWS.

in automation and scripting using tools like AWS CloudFormation, AWS CLI, Python, or PowerShell.

problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

certifications, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate, are a plus.

communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with clients and cross-functional teams.
