Assist in the assembly, disassembly, and maintenance of drilling equipment under the guidance of experienced crew members.
Handle and move equipment and supplies on the drilling floor, including pipes, fittings, and tools.
Perform general labor tasks such as cleaning, painting, and maintaining the rig structure and equipment.
Assist in the loading and unloading of supplies and equipment from supply vessels and helicopters.
Work closely with other members of the drilling crew to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times to prevent accidents and injuries.
Participate in safety meetings, drills, and inspections to maintain a culture of safety on the rig.
Assist in emergency response situations as needed, following established protocols and procedures.
Follow instructions from supervisors and experienced crew members to carry out assigned tasks effectively.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in a similar role on offshore rigs preferred but not required.
Physical fitness and stamina to perform manual labor in a challenging offshore environment.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions closely.
Willingness to work in remote offshore locations on a rotational basis.
