Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner - Gastroenterology

Job Description

An established Gastroenterology practice in Long Island is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join their team. This is a full-time position. Monday - Friday, no weekends and no call.

Responsibilities:

Treat patients in an outpatient setting

Perform H&Ps, pre-visit documentations and various procedures

Provide counsel and medical treatment to patients

Educate patients on overall wellness and health maintenance

Develop and implement patient management plans

Qualifications:

· Active New York State License

· GI or Internal Medicine experience is preferred. New graduates with a GI background will be considered!

· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
