Job Description

Pride Health is hiring a Medical Assistant to support our client’s medical facility based in Bethel, Connecticut. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Responsibilities:

Provide patient care, clinical summary, and direction on next steps or follow-up.

Act as a member of the care team, including preparing patients to be seen by collecting and recording clinical information as per protocol.

Document all patient interactions and other clinical activities accurately and promptly in the electronic health record (EHR)

Monitor task buckets to respond to tasks promptly, follow up on overdue orders/worklists, and monitor the status of critical referrals

Qualifications:

Certified Medical Assistant required.

Completion of a Medical Assistant training program required.

Location: Bethel, Connecticut

Job Type: contract to hire.

Schedule: Monday to Friday – 07:30 am to 05:30 pm

Pay Range: $17.00 to 23.00/hour.

*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
