Job Title: Accounting Assistant

Reports to: Company Controller

Position Type: Full-Time Salary

Role and Responsibilities

· Reviews and oversees all accounts.

· Keeps records of company register.

· Data entry and reporting to bank.

· Prepares and reports a budget based on previous year trends.

· Issues credits and debits to customers and vendors.

· Issues vendor approval and reviews accounts to issue weekly check runs.

· Obtains credit approvals and sets limits for customers.

· Working with all other departments as needed.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred.

· Certified Public Accountant preferred.

· 7-10 years of accounting experience, including public accounting.

· Technical skills and experience in financial reporting, consolidation accounting

· Must have experience in managing others and able to be assertive.

· Must have strong communication skills.

· Must have strong organizational skills.

Must have experience with Microsoft Office.Company Description
