Position Summary:

The corporate recruiter is responsible for creating and executing effective recruiting and staffing strategies for the 4 companies of FourGen Holding, which includes Continental Electrical Construction Co, Continental Energy Solutions, and Electrical Energy Experts. The recruiter will also source and screen candidates for nonunion roles, schedule interviews, craft job postings, develop campus recruiting programs, negotiate offers, and manage relationships with outside recruiting agencies.

What you’ll do:

Develop Recruiting Strategies: Collaborate with leaders to identify and implement recruiting methods and strategies for nonunion roles; Assist with creating recruiting campaigns and materials; Assess and manage outside recruiting partners

Create and Maintain Candidate Pools: Draft job postings and interview questions; Publicize openings through appropriate sources; Mine candidates from various websites and internet searches; Screen and interview candidates; Develop and execute campus recruiting and internship programs

Obtain and Retain Employees: Collaborate with leaders and HR Director on offers; Conduct periodic check-ins with new hires to gauge satisfaction; Assist with on-boarding improvements and retention initiatives; May assist HR Director with HR projects/initiatives

What you’ll need for success:

Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Management or related field preferred

Minimum 5 years recruiting experience (recruiting for office roles within the construction industry preferred)

SHRM CP or SCP, SHRM Talent Acquisition Specialty, or HRCI PHR or SPHR a plus

Experience in or familiarity with the construction, electrical engineering or solar industries preferred

Outstanding oral and written communication skills, with use of proper grammar

History of successful negotiations and influence

Knowledge of labor laws and anti-discrimination legislation

Proven ability to customize sourcing strategies for various roles and mine candidates from the internet

Proficiency using applicant tracking systems (Bamboo HR a plus)

Intermediate MS Office skills

Sound judgment abilities

History of interviewing candidates and developing interviewing questions
