Bath & Body Works is seeking a hard-working R&D Technical Project Manager I to join our fast past and ever-evolving Research and Development team. We are an innovative team of technical project managers that are agile, passionate and curious to innovate and execute brand relevant personal care & beauty products. The ideal associate must have the creative and technical know-how to collaborate, problem solve and deliver results with a project management mentality.

Responsibilities

Assess challenges and risks in stability or compatibility, troubleshoot, and align on resolution with manager.

Complete all relevant landmarks for commercialization and organizational change and report development challenges that may jeopardize timelines and provide risk assessment/status to internal teams and manager.

Assess equivalent/alternate raw materials for approval due to raw material disruptions.

Maintain R&D project trackers.

Lead key fragrance house Product Development Request results.

Participate at weekly commercialization or cross-functional meetings.

Requires extensive internal cross-functional collaboration and external vendor interaction.

Connects and establishes relationships within R&D and with cross functional teams, including onboarding, touch-bases and alignment meetings.

Qualifications

Qualifications & Experience

1-3 years’ experience in R&D or raw materials applications lab

Experience in Personal Care, Skincare, Makeup or Haircare is preferred

Experience in project management preferred

Good problem solving skills

Displays a sense of urgency and eager to take initiative; ability to adapt and accept change

Good communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation)

Collaboration and interpersonal skill

Education

BS/MS degree in science related field
