What we are Looking for
It’s a great to join L&M Corrugated! We are experiencing a lot of growth and we’re excited to really put an emphasis on our Continuous Improvement team and grow the department. We’re looking for a CI Specialist who will work closely will our Continuous Improvement Leader to analyze our processes and makes suggestions on how to improve them. This person will be a part of a team that leads the charge in change implementation, training, and efficiency projects.
Primary Responsibilities
Working closely with every department to improve processes around the company
Identifying opportunities for process improvement, waste removal, and cost reduction
Planning, facilitating, and executing continuous improvement events
Teaching, leading, and coaching cross-functional teams on L&M CI methodology
Working to continuously improve processes both on the production floor as well as transactional by collaborating with multiple departments
Work with employees on Kaizen events
Build custom structures for process improvement / efficiency updates
Establish and track metrics to show CI improvements
Education, Experience, and Attributes
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
An analytical mindset also evaluating how we can make a process better
