We are seeking an Entrepreneurial-minded individual to join our growing team! This role will allow you to learn the Insurance Industry under the guidance and support of an existing successful Agency, while being training and prepped with a clear roadmap to becoming an Agency Owner or top producer.
The Protg Program is designed to provide individuals an opportunity to step into the Insurance Industry and grow their skills and business knowledge to become a Farmers Agency Owner while being mentored by one of our top Agents.
The Protg will have access to the award-winning University of Farmers program as well as unlimited local support from the District Office.

Responsibilities:
Handle customer inquiries
Sell and Solicit / Provide information about the products and services
Troubleshoot and resolve product issues and concerns
Document and update customer records based on interactions
Develop and maintain a knowledge base of the evolving products and services
Qualifications:
Previous experience in customer service, sales, or other related fields
Ability to build rapport with clients
Ability to prioritize and multitask
Positive and professional demeanor
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must be willing to obtain Insurance License

Responsibilities
Meet new business production goals and objectives as established.
Solicits for new business via telephone, networking, and other lead sources.
Develop insurancequotes, makes sales presentations, and closes sales.
Developongoing networking relationships with Real Estate Agents, Mortgage Lenders, Title Companies, Auto Dealers, etc.
Ask each customer for referrals and explain our referral program.
Prospecting and generating new businessthrough leads & referral sources.
Schedule appointments for sales staff to meet prospective customers.
Requirements
Possess a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive and resourceful and be coachable.
Possess an upbeat, positive and enthusiastic attitude.
Be a great self-starter with a sense of urgency.
Create relationships from a cold start.
Confident, self-starter who works well independently.
A Property & Casualty license is preferred but will train good individual.
Career minded vision.
Minimum 1 year prior sales experience preferred.
