Job Description

We are searching for a focused and meticulous Sr. Accountant for our team in INDEPENDENCE, Ohio, 44131-2222, United States. As a Sr. Accountant, you will be crucial in managing our financial operations, ensuring our ledger is accurate and up-to-date, and helping us maintain our financial health. Your role will encompass a variety of tasks, including account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and bank reconciliations.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.

• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and rectify any discrepancies identified.

• Carry out bank reconciliations regularly to ensure financial information accuracy.

• Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring all entries are accurate and up-to-date.

• Prepare and record journal entries for business transactions.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for various financial tasks and reporting.

• Participate in month-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial statements.

• Utilize NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP for various accounting and financial tasks.• Proven experience in a similar role, such as a Senior Accountant

• Proficiency in account reconciliation procedures

• Demonstrable experience with balance sheet reconciliation

• Expertise in performing bank reconciliations

• Ability to manage and maintain the general ledger

• Proficiency in creating and posting journal entries

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel

• Experience in performing month-end close procedures

• Familiarity with NetSuite accounting software

• Previous experience with Oracle software

• Proficiency in SAP software

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
