SummaryAs a business solution architect for the new GE Vernova PowerNow 2.0 system, you will help drive the digital transformation of Gas Power by designing and implementing state-of-the art digital solutions built on the advanced capabilities of the ServiceNow platform. ServiceNow is a widely used intelligent software platform that sits on top of an organizations existing data and systems, enabling employees to orchestrate and automate tasks across the enterprise using customizable low-code tools.

As part of the PowerNow decision support organization, you will be part of a dedicated team that connects business and digital technology to drive enterprise-critical outcomes. You will work closely with business functions across Gas Power in understanding their requirements, processes, data sources, workflows, and systems; and transition them to PowerNow 2.0 via common enterprise data models and efficient workflows enhanced with predictive analytics and automation. You will work with GE Vernova Digital teams and their contractors tasked with developing, implementing, testing, and deploying these new solutions. As part of this role, you will get trained and certified with the ServiceNow platform. This is a business critical, highly visible leadership role that encompasses a variety of skills like digital transformation, business process redesign, process mining, data analytics, process automation and software engineering.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

Assume ownership of a business function’s PowerNow 2.0 needs; interface with business functional leaders to map out existing processes, data sources, data models, systems, and workflows into a common enterprise-wide data model and ServiceNow framework.

Develop process workflows and associated solution archetypes, utilizing the modern capabilities available in the ServiceNow platform. This includes elements of data modeling, data integration, UX design, customization, analytics, and automation as needed.

Collaborate and participate with GE Vernova’s Digital Platforms Support and Delivery teams in the technical development, integration, customization, testing and validation of these solutions.

Analyze solutions to identify patterns, bottlenecks, and inefficiencies, enabling organizations to improve their operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance employee experience.

Participate in Process Improvement & Process Kaizen activities to drive continuous improvements.

Complete required ServiceNow training and certification needed for your role.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in engineering, business, operations, or computer science from an accredited university or college or a high school diploma/ GED with 10 years of relevant experience.

8 years of experience with digital transformation, data analytics, process automation or business operations.

Extensive knowledge of tools used to execute processes for at least one organization within GE Gas Power.

Desired Characteristics

Strong understanding and interest in key business drivers, processes, and tools used across GE Gas Power organizations.

Knowledge of how work your team performs integrates with other teams and contributes to larger business outcomes like efficiency and operational productivity.

Ability and willingness to take the initiative in driving collaboration across business teams, be comfortable with ambiguity; willing to work autonomously if needed and make decisions and recommend solutions within established guidelines.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; effective in using data and analytics to improve processes and make decisions.

Working knowledge of LEAN and use of SIPOC, RACI, and Value Stream Mapping.

Ability to navigate ambiguity in a rapidly changing environment.

For U.S. based candidates only, for purposes of complying with U.S. pay transparency requirements, the base pay range for this position is $111,200.00 - 185,400.00 USD Annual.

The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for a 15% performance bonus

*The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
