REINSURANCE TECHNICAL ASSISTANT

We are looking for a Reinsurance Technical Assistant to support our Arch Re Europe platform and provide underwriting support for reinsurance contracts

Responsibilities

Liaise and collaborate daily with Underwriting Assistants in Copenhagen office

Communicate directly with underwriters and others within Arch Re

Submission tracking in the company’s underwriting system

Capture relevant contract data in the company’s underwriting systems

Ensure necessary compliance documentation is complete for assigned contracts

Maintain electronic files for assigned contracts

Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned

Process addenda and adjustment of data when required

Qualifications

Bachelors Degree

Required Skills/Experience

Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role with a relevant educational background

Prior insurance, reinsurance and/or contract wording experience would be a plus

Fluency in English

Strong computer skills, in particular, proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of applications

Ability and willingness to work well and collaborate with others

Eagerness to learn and develop new skills

Ability to communicate efficiently and effectively at all levels

A natural ability to be resourceful and think outside the box

Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work with tight deadlines during peak periods

A strong work ethic with the ability to self-manage while working without supervision
