What are we looking for?

Licensed Clinical Therapist is responsible for providing individual/group therapy and trouble-shooting/crisis intervention sessions. Provides guidance and counsel regarding recovery and behavioral health issues. Provide individual and family counseling. Responsible for providing group counseling in accordance with assigned schedule. Work as part of a multidisciplinary team. Work with families, probation officers, and consented others in order to exchange necessary information during the treatment process and for aftercare and continuing care.

Required qualifications:

Graduate from an accredited college or university in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or mental health related field, Master’s Degree in a mental health/behavioral health field that is licensed, required.

Previous work in a treatment environment with substance abuse/mental health disorders

preferred.

2 years post-licensure preferred, but not required, however must be independently licensed as an LCSW, LMHC (LMFT or only certification as a CAP is not eligible for this position).

Current CPR Certification or must be obtained.

Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) Training or must be obtained

Duties and Responsibilities

Provides screenings and assessments of new patients.

Actively participates in daily interdisciplinary team meetings.

Devises, completes and documents on a regular basis on the initial treatment plan, master treatment plan, integrated diagnostic summary and treatment plan reviews/updates.

Shares pertinent information with clinical and medical team as obtained from

Attends daily and weekly staffing meetings per schedule.

Evaluates the impact of therapeutic interventions upon the therapeutic milieu.

Performs an initial paperwork for all patients including an initial treatment plan, initial discharge plan and comprehensive bio-psychosocial assessment.

Provides education to patient/family.

Facilities discharge planning process with patient/families in coordination with care coordinator.

Facilitates clinical group therapy sessions weekly.
