Job Summary: We are seeking a seasoned Assistant Manager / Manager of Human Resources to lead our HR initiatives and foster a collaborative workforce. This role is pivotal in supporting our expansion and enhancing our organizational effectiveness. The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of Indian labour law and a proven track record in HR management.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement HR strategies and policies aligned with the business goals.

Manage employee relations, ensuring legal compliance with Indian labour laws and maintaining a positive work environment.

Oversee the recruitment process to ensure the attraction and retention of top talent.

Administer compensation, benefits, performance appraisals, and employee development programs.

Evaluate and refine HR procedures and systems to improve efficiency and compliance.

Provide support and guidance to management and staff on HR-related matters.

Ensure compliance with all national, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, anticipating legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions.

Requirements:

Minimum of 7 years of experience in a human resources role with 2 managerial responsibilities (preferably in IT/ITeS industries)

Thorough knowledge of Indian labour law and HR best practices.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact.

Strong leadership skills and the ability to influence and engage direct and indirect reports and peers.

MBA in HR
