Data Analyst

The ideal candidate will use their passion for big data and analytics to provide insights to the business covering a range of topics. They will be responsible for conducting both recurring and ad hoc analysis for business users.

Responsibilities

Conduct quantitative/qualitative data analysis using Advanced Excel with proficiency in Macro, VBA and Power Query.

Present reports monthly, quarterly, and as requested with issues, observations or outcomes specified.

Work with internal and client stakeholders to improve, automate and align data with current processes.

Constructs forecasts, Predictions, recommendations, and strategic/tactical plans based on business data & market knowledge.

Creates specifications for reports and analysis based on business needs.

Create MIS reports and dashboards using data visualization tools

Seeks out, identifies, documents and initiates resolutions to data quality issues that are discovered during report and analysis development.

Work on Industry trends, research and recommend best practices and KPI’S.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.

Proven track record of analysing data and using analysis to drive key insights and recommendations.

Ability to work on large data sets on multiple systems.

Experience working in Data visualization Tools like Tableau/Power BI

Good Proficiency in at least one of R & Python

Preferably having background in Insurance Industry.
