Job Summary: The Logistics Assistant Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and timely movement of goods within the personal care company's supply chain. This position involves overseeing various aspects of logistics, including transportation, distribution, inventory management, and vendor relations.

Responsibilities:

Transportation and Distribution:

• Work with transportation providers to optimize routes and ensure timely and cost- effective delivery of goods.

• Oversee the distribution network, ensuring that products reach their destination on time and in good condition.

Vendor Management:

• Build and maintain relationships logistics service providers.

• Negotiate contracts and terms to ensure favourable pricing and service agreements.

Process Improvement:

• Identify areas for process improvement within the logistics function.

• Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

Reporting:

• Prepare and analyse logistics reports, including key performance indicators (KPIs), to assess and improve overall logistics performance.

Qualifications:

4-6 Years of experience in logistics department.

Experience working within a start-up environment is highly desirable.

Proven experience in logistics, preferably in the personal care or consumer goods industry.

Strong knowledge of supply chain and logistics processes.

Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Proficient in using MS excel/ Google sheets for logistics.

Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.

Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
