Randstad Digital (RD) is seeking a resilient, self-motivated, and experienced M&A professional to take on the role of Corporate Development – M&A Deal Staff. In this position, reporting to the Head of Corporate Development and M&A, you will be responsible for supporting the management of the full lifecycle of M&A activities at Randstad Digital, from origination through closing and integration of acquisitions. The successful candidate will support building and managing the acquisition pipeline, evaluate potential targets, lead due diligence efforts, create financial models and materials for executive/board reviews, and develop integration plans in collaboration with business and cross-functional teams. For this position, you must have prior M&A experience in financial modeling, project management, and valuation analysis.

Key responsibilities:

● Research key trends in Randstad Digital’s markets and industry, monitoring competitors and reporting findings to senior leadership.

● Support M&A Deal Lead, Head of Corp Dev and M&A at RD and other stakeholders to identify and assess potential acquisition opportunities, managing the deal pipeline effectively.

● Lead the deal execution process, including due diligence, financial modeling, integration planning, post-close integration, project management, and stakeholder interaction.

● Serving as a liaison between various departments involved in M&A projects, including Legal, Tax, Accounting, and Control.

● Maintain a database of precedent transactions and support valuation, structuring, negotiation, and other discussions.

● Prepare materials to support analysis and recommendations on deal opportunities for M&A Deal Lead and Head of RD M&A to present to the executive committee and board review.

● Continuously improve Corporate Development processes and frameworks to enhance day-to-day operations, balancing focus on deal sourcing and execution activities.

● Help maintain excellent relationships with external and internal stakeholders, including other M&A team members, business leadership teams, and corporate function teams.

Requirements:

● Proven track record in M&A as an analyst in investment banking, corporate development, management consulting or Private equity. Buy-side experience strongly preferred.

● Strong project management skills, self-organization and desire to contribute to development of best practices in M&A execution.

● Ability to produce high-quality deliverables under time pressure, demonstrating attention to detail and a commitment to driving decision-making.

● Collaborative, problem-solving mindset with the ability to work effectively with others and manage conflicting priorities in a non-confrontational manner.

● Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, capable of interacting effectively across all levels and different cultures and international geographies.

● Prior experience in the IT services or other technology-related industry is strongly preferred, although candidates with a personal interest and desire to learn/follow the technology landscape will also be considered.

● Adaptability to change and willingness to travel (up to 25%).
